FAMILIES WITH 4+ CHILDREN A mandatory requirement for the issuance of tickets is the presentation of either a Certificate of Large Family Status issued through gov.gr (Joint Ministerial Decision 267/2023) or a Large Family ID Card duly validated for the current year (bearing the annual ASPE stamp) by the Supreme Confederation of Large Families of Greece (ASPE), in accordance with Law 3454/2006, Article 6. In addition, the vehicle registration certificate must be presented, and the private vehicle (I.X.) must be registered as a large-family vehicle. Multi-seat private vehicles owned by large families, regardless of their length, are classified as private passenger cars, provided they are designated as large-family vehicles on the registration certificate. Such vehicles are charged according to the private car fare category and not as minibuses. For children, the discount applies: Up to 23 years of age, upon presentation of a Certificate of Large Family Status and a National Identity Card. Up to 25 years of age, provided they are enrolled in studies, upon presentation of a Certificate of Large Family Status, a National Identity Card, and a Student ID Card. These supporting documents must also be presented to the relevant ship authorities during boarding for verification purposes. Family discounts (4+ children) are also valid on the Piraeus - Heraklion route operated by the F/B Blue Star Chios.

FAMILIES WITH 3 CHILDREN A mandatory requirement for the issuance of tickets is the presentation of a Three-Child Family Association ID card or a Family Status Certificate. Children of three-child families are entitled to the discount up to the age of 25, upon presentation of their ID card.

- The discounts are not cumulative. In each case a discount is applied, the largest in percentage.
- The beneficiaries of the above discounts must present the supporting documents when issuing the tickets and when boarding the ship.
